New Boutique Villa Resort Opens Just Outside of Puerto Vallarta

The Matlali Hotel, a resort offering 40 villa-style accommodations, opened in the hills above Banderas Bay north of Nuevo Vallarta.

“The design of this hotel was inspired by the rich Mexican culture of La Cruz,” said Raul Nunez, general manager.
The villa decor features a color scheme of cream and deep teal, wood tones and knotted rope rugs.

Villas range from one to three bedrooms and include WiFi, fully equipped kitchens, a washer and dryer and sun terraces.

The hotel offers Raixes, a Mexican fusion restaurant, Matlali Club House for snacks and drinks, two infinity pools and the Makawe . . .
