Ortiz, Green share lead at Mexico Championship

Carlos Ortiz closed birdie-eagle to cap a 6-under 66 and grab a share of the third-round lead Saturday at the Web.com Tour's El Bosque Mexico Championship.

At 9 under, Ortiz is tied with Nathan Green for the lead at 9 under entering Sunday's final round at El Bosque Golf Club in Leon, Mexico.

Ortiz, a rookie who played college golf at North Texas, is trying for his second victory of the season – he won the Panama Claro Championship last month. He's made four of five cuts and has four finished of T-22 . . .
