Small crocodile captured in Puerto Vallarta’s Cuale River

The staff of the Municipal Ecology sub-direction captured a small crocodile in the Cuale River on Monday. The young crocodile sighting was reported by neighbors a few days ago.

The capture was recorded at 11:00 p.m., after officials from the department monitored the area for a week waiting for the crocodile to reappear after receiving reported sightings.

The animal was under the bridge of the river, between the colonies Benito Juárez and Canoas, and the maneuvers for its capture were complicated by the current conditions of the tributary, since the current is intense and the rocks . . .
