“This is a lovely almost hidden jewel! We ate there many many times from Jan-April while we were in PV for the winter. We attend a near by church so the location was very convenient also. We ordered from the breakfast, lunch & dinner menu during these months & were never disappointed. I especially loved that option as I don’t like breakfast but my husband does. The fish tacos, shrimp enchiladas (to die for), tortilla soup (served so beautifully), chicken dishes & deserts, especially the chocolate one, were wonderful. Loved the tequila grenita to cleanse the palate! Always greeted warmly, as old friends by all, owner, chef and servers. They all found time to talk and make you feel welcome. We truly felt like family after 3 months! We loved the low key atmosphere & quaint 5th of December Colonial. The owner grew up there. Be sure & check out the special murals upstairs on the balcony & bathroom walls. We can hardly wait for winter to come and we head back down to PV & Layla’s.”
