Hail storms possible throughout much of Mexico this weekend

The National Meteorological Service (SMN) predicted conditions for hail on Friday through Sunday in much of the country, except for the south and the Yucatan Peninsula.

The agency indicated that today the frontal system number 33 will be located on the north of the Gulf of Mexico, without affecting the country.

While two unstable zones will be located on the north and west of the national territory, generating strong winds with gusts above 60 kilometers per hour and possible sandstorms or whirlpools in Chihuahua, Coahuila, Nuevo Leon, Tamaulipas.

They will also cause east-easterly winds in Campeche and Yucatan.
