Fairfield mother deported to Mexico returns home after 17 months

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - After a 17-month deportation to Mexico, a mother has been reunited with her family in Fairfield.On Tuesday night, her church held a special mass to welcome Maribel Trujillo-Diaz back home. Around 70 parishioners filled the church to attending the worship service.“More than anything, first of all, I want to thank my God for being here with my family and all of you,” said Trujillo-Diaz.Trujillo-Diaz was deported to Mexico in April 2017 after losing an asylum case. Her attorney says U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement . . .
