34% of tourists in Puerto Vallarta are LGBT

34% of visitors who arrive in Puerto Vallarta to enjoy the tourist destination belong to the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transsexual community (LGBT), with the city being recognized as “Mexico's gayest city” by the English magazine The Gay UK.

Héctor Ramírez Betancourt, leader of the LGBT collective in Puerto Vallarta, explained that in a recent study, carried out by the organization of “Pride Vallarta”, showed that 34% of tourists in Puerto Vallarta were from the LGBT community.
