Citizens in the Puerto Vallarta area interested in learning the primary techniques for lifeguards, the Civil Protection and Firefighters of Banderas Bay, with participation of area sponsors, are offering free basic courses for lifeguard volunteers.
Courses will be held at different points around the bay for four days, December 1-4, from 8:30 AM until 1:00 PM: Monday in Sayulita, Tuesday in Puerto Vallarta, Wednesday in Punta de Mita, and Thursday in Sayulita. The course has a limit of 70 people for registration in each class.
