Grand Venetian Hotel Union Leader Prime Suspect in Murderer of Women’s Rights Activist Irma Fregoso

Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco – Judicial and police authorities are intensifying their search for Rodrigo Pelayo Yerena, the alleged murderer of prominent women's rights activist Irma Fregoso, a representative of the organization 50+1. The Jalisco Prosecutor's Office has requested a judge to issue an arrest warrant for Yerena, who serves as the union representative for the employees of the Grand Venetian Hotel in Puerto Vallarta.
