The search effort has persisted well beyond the standard 72-hour period, after which bodies that have submerged typically resurface naturally. Municipal Civil Protection divers are still actively diving, meticulously combing through the waters in pursuit of Luis Arnulfo’s body, while his parents maintain a hopeful vigil along the shore. This coordinated search effort also includes the State Civil Protection and the Mexican Navy, who are scouring the Banderas Bay area, navigating unpredictable currents and challenging underwater conditions in their attempt to bring resolution to this tragic situation.
Salvador Castillón, head of Puerto Vallarta’s lifeguard division, has emphasized the collective commitment to supporting the family through this ordeal. “The search will persist until we locate the minor,” Castillón stated, reinforcing that the joint forces are determined to provide the family with the support they need during these trying times.
