Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – In a determined move to enhance public safety, officers from the Puerto Vallarta Municipal Transit and Citizen Security Commission have been conducting joint operations in close coordination with state and federal agencies. These efforts form part of a comprehensive strategy to ensure that residents and visitors alike enjoy a safe and secure environment throughout the city.
As part of these proactive measures, police have intensified patrols on key arteries including State Highway 544, Francisco Medina Ascencio, Francisco Villa, Prisciliano Sánchez, Fluvial, and Los Tules. Officers meticulously inspected 24/7 businesses and commercial outlets along these routes, underscoring the commitment to maintaining vigilance in areas that see heavy daily activity.
In addition to monitoring the city’s main thoroughfares, patrols were also deployed in neighborhoods within the El Pitillal delegation. Areas such as Pitillal Centro, Colonia del Toro, Villa de Guadalupe, and Coapinole, which host numerous businesses and bustling consumer centers, received particular attention. Despite the high volume of activity, no incidents were reported in these communities.
Citizen Security Commissioner Horacio Llanas Cuevas emphasized that the seamless coordination among municipal, state, and federal agencies is crucial to keeping Puerto Vallarta safe. “The cooperation we have established across different levels of government is a key element in our continued commitment to public safety,” he stated. “We will persist in our efforts to provide the safety our citizens deserve.”
