LGBT tourism continues to grow in Mexico

LGBT tourism in Mexico has been growing steadily, up to 8% each year, as the gay-friendly destinations in the country also continue to grow.

According to Mariano Osores, president of the National Association of Commerce and Tourism LGBT of Mexico (Cancotur) , for about seven years, LGBT tourism has shown an increase and it is expected to continue that pace.

He also noted that Mexico has legislation that supports the community, allowing equal marriage or adoption, as well as support with the National Council to Prevent Discrimination.
