The body was located approximately 800 meters from the shore, in front of Marina Vallarta, an area known for its bustling maritime activity and proximity to luxury hotels.
Eyewitnesses on the boat reported seeing the towers of hotels near the mouth of the Pitillal River from their position, providing a geographical marker for the location of the body.
