Puerto Vallarta (PVDN) – A Puerto Vallarta man was arrested after shooting his neighbor in the head in a dispute over a party the shooter had hosted in the neighborhood.
The shooter is not being detained for attempted homicide as the victim continues to recover from two gunshots, one in the arm and the other in the head.
The events occurred on March 13 in Puerto Vallarta after José Luis “T” and the victim began an argument in a store over a party that the shooter had hosted in the neighborhood where they both live.
Hours later, the now defendant continued to verbally assault the victim, and around midnight he returned with a handgun and shot the victim in the head and arm.
The judge ordered José Luis “T” to be held without bail for a maximum of one year while the investigation continues and a court date can be set for trial.
