Puerto Vallarta’s airport was still moving flights Sunday morning, with public boards showing a steady mix of domestic service and U.S. connections for June 7.
The Puerto Vallarta Airport flight status board, operated by the airport operator, provides travelers with real-time departure and arrival schedules. The language is plain enough and worth repeating. It tells passengers to “Check real-time schedules,” because the airport board can change faster than a travel plan does on a rainy weekend.
For the 6 a.m. to noon window, the public departure board listed 19 departure entries out of PVR, while the arrivals board listed 26 arrival entries into PVR. Those are flight entries, not a clean count of separate aircraft, because codeshares can assign multiple flight numbers to a single plane.
Morning flights leaned domestic
The early arrivals in Puerto Vallarta were largely domestic. Public listings showed flights from Mexico City, Monterrey, Aguascalientes, Guadalajara, Santa Lucía, and San Luis Potosí. The same morning window also included service to Dallas, Houston, and Denver, giving the board the familiar Sunday mix of short domestic hops and U.S. gateway flights.
