Conducted on 289 beaches with high tourist influx, the study aimed to determine which coastal destinations meet the established criteria for safe recreational use.
According to the recent report, the majority of beaches in Mexico maintain conditions suitable for swimming and other leisure activities. However, six beaches have been classified as unsuitable due to elevated contamination levels, representing a potential health risk for visitors.
