Expansion of Mexico Avenue to 4 Lanes in Puerto Vallarta Announced

Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco – Residents of Ixtapa and Las Palmas, who regularly commute to Vallarta or El Pitillal, are set to experience relief from daily traffic congestion with the announced expansion of Avenida México. President Luis Munguía has revealed plans to expand a critical section of the road from Ixtapa to Mojoneras, increasing it to four lanes. This initiative addresses long-standing issues on a stretch of road that has struggled to accommodate the rising volume of vehicles, causing significant delays during rush hours.
