A demonstration in support of democracy and in opposition to authoritarianism will take place on September 8, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at the Plaza de Armas in downtown Puerto Vallarta. This movement, led by a coalition of concerned citizens and non-governmental organizations (NGOs), is part of the broader “Pink Tide” initiative, which is mobilizing demonstrations across various cities in Mexico.
