Scheduled water cut affects Ixtapa area
A water suspension is scheduled for Thursday, May 21, in several areas of Puerto Vallarta due to interconnection work on new lines near the road to Las Palmas.
SEAPAL Vallarta said the service cut is expected to run from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The work will take place on the carretera a Las Palmas, near its crossing with the road to the Ameca River.
The affected areas include Nuevo Ixtapa, Banús, Costa Dorada, Las Garzas, and the Industrial Zone along the road to CUCosta. The utility said the work will affect a sector of the Ixtapa delegation and nearby zones.
Residents asked to store water before work begins
Authorities recommended that residents in the affected neighborhoods store water before the suspension begins. They also asked users to use water responsibly while the work is carried out.
