Quick Response from Puerto Vallarta Police Thwarts Phone Extortion, Reunites Lost Child with Family

PUERTO VALLARTA (PVDN) - In a recent incident, the Citizen Security Police Station of Puerto Vallarta intervened to prevent a family in the Las Juntas delegation from falling victim to a telephone extortion scam.

The PV-405 unit was conducting their regular surveillance tour when, at approximately 4:50 pm, they received a distress call. The officers were directed to the intersection of Ricardo Flores Magón and José María Pino Suárez streets in response to a report of a missing minor.
