La Red de Limpieza de Playas (RLP) de la Riviera Nayarit, inicia sus actividades este 2016 el sábado 16 de enero con su vigésima edición. La colaboración en la RLP de los residentes temporales norteamericanos, es un fenómeno social que ocurrió el año pasado y se está repitiendo este año.
Desde la edición del mes de diciembre se notó que los grupos que se han convertido en tradicionales dentro de estas actividades de limpieza, se vieron reforzados por los extranjeros que están en sus casas vacacionales o visitando a los amigos.
Tras cerrar el año con el apoyo de diferentes grupos de voluntarios que dedican tiempo a la limpieza de las playas públicas, cañadas e islas nayaritas, la Oficina de Visitantes y Convenciones de la Riviera Nayarit (OVC), quiere agradecer a todos los participantes por un 2015 en el que mes con mes se contó con su participación.
La conservación de las riquezas naturales del Destino, así como la integración social en una actividad sin fines de lucros que fomenta un paulatino pero constante cambio cultural en la costa del estado, son motivos que tienen el valor y el peso específico para continuar con estas actividades de forma permanente.
En ese sentido, los visitantes estadounidenses y canadienses, quienes en su mayoría son personas adultas, que gustan de preservar el medio ambiente y que cuenta con tiempo libre suficiente, son afines a este proyecto y por eso se integran con gusto.
Es una forma de agradecer al Destino que les permite intercambiar el gélido frío del norte del continente por el cálido y excelente clima que tiene el Tesoro del Pacífico Mexicano durante el invierno.
