Over the weekend tourists visiting the Malecón enjoyed free concerts and entertainment with Santa Fest 2016, the festival prepared by the Vallartense Cultural Institute presenting a wide variety of artists.
In the open-air theater of Los Arcos del Malecón, visitors enjoyed performances by Zimri Rentería, danced to the rhythm of Funk Jazz Azul, enjoyed the rhythms and vocals of Guadalupe Mediavilla as well as rock bands Three Circus , Dinamo and Joker Trio Band.
In addition, Grupo Arcano set up another stage at the Malecón lighthouse. These concerts were the first part of a two week festival scheduled by the Vallartense Institute of Culture for artistic entertainment to enrich the experience of visiting Puerto Vallarta and promote the creativity of the artists of the region.
Santa Fest 2016 will continue in Easter Week, with presentations on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
