You can find all the details about your account in your Dashboard. Please familiarize yourself with the Dashboard and visit it often. There is a link to your dashboard on the top of every page when you are logged into your account.
All subscribers are assumed to have read their contract before agreeing to the terms and forming a legally binding contract with PVDN when registering. If you need a refresher about your contract, you can read it anytime at https://www.vallartadaily.com/terms-of-use/
When you first register to become a subscriber to PVDN you are specifically asked if you would like your payment to auto-renew. If you click this option, your payment will auto-renew. If you do not click this option, you will not auto-renew. By default, we do not auto-renew subscriptions; you must intentionally choose that option when registering.
You can always visit the Dashboard to see if you are an auto-renew subscriber. Under the Account Overview section, you will see either ‘Enable Auto Renew’ (this means your subscription will not renew). Or you will see ‘Disable Auto Renew’ (this means you are scheduled for auto payments at the end of your subscription.
There is no need to cancel your account. Once your paid subscription period has expired, your account will automatically cancel.
If you are set for auto-renewal (as covered in the section above), then you will need to click ‘Disable Auto Renewal’, this effectively cancels your account when your currently paid subscription period ends. Your Dashboard gives you your expiration date.
There is no reason to contact us and request a cancellation. Again, you must make sure you cancel any auto-renewals before your subscription renews, this is your responsibility.
The terms you agreed to when becoming a subscriber are a legal contract you entered, whether or not you clicked to agree to terms without reading them. That contract states that your subscription is non-refundable due to the nature of our business and that you gain access to digital content immediately upon becoming a subscriber.
You can always refresh your memory on the contract you have entered by viewing the contract here.
No. Whatever the subscription cost was when you registered, that cost is yours for a lifetime unless you allow your credit card to expire without updating the card information before auto-renewal. If a failed auto-renewal payment occurs, your account is canceled, and you must register again under whatever the current cost for a subscription may be.
Those subscribers who joined PVDN under our first year of subscriptions with the promotional price of $25.00 a year will keep that price for life as long as they do not cancel their auto-renewal or an auto-renewal payment fails. If that occurs, you will lose that special introductory price.
For each paid year you are a subscriber, you will have a username and password to access our website and read full news articles. That is the only service you are charged for in your subscription.
However, we also aim to keep your experience ad-free, but with our Google agreement, we know they inject ads from time to time in subscriber content. While we work hard to prevent that and aim for an ad-free experience, we cannot promise that with every visit. For this reason, we say it is a primarily ad-free experience. You only receive this ad-free or nearly ad-free, experience when logged into your account. If you are not logged into your account, you will see ads. So while we would love to say you won’t see any ads as a subscriber, our contract with Google allows them the occasional ad injection. We can say you would have a 95% reduction in ads at a minimum, but that is not a perk of being a subscriber, it’s our gift to you.
