The Puerto Vallarta Half Marathon and 5K returns for its 22nd edition on Sunday, November 15, 2026, with a refreshed route designed to showcase one of Mexico’s most scenic race courses.

Both races will start and finish at the Agustín Flores Contreras Sports Complex, commonly known as “the Stadium.”

The 5K route will take runners along the center lanes of Francisco M. Ascencio Boulevard, with a turnaround at La Isla Shopping Village. The half marathon will follow the same course before continuing north, turning around at the Puerto Vallarta sign near the international airport, and returning to the stadium.

The Puerto Vallarta Half Marathon and 5K are open to both men and women. Race categories include Open, ages 18 to 29; Master A, ages 30 to 39; Master B, ages 40 to 49; Master C, ages 50 to 59; and Veterans D, ages 60 and older.

The top three finishers in each category will receive a trophy.
