Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – To bolster connectivity and cater to the burgeoning demand for air travel, Viva Aerobús, a prominent Mexican low-cost airline, has announced the introduction of seven new national routes originating from the Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA). Among these freshly unveiled destinations stands Puerto Vallarta, a popular resort city on Mexico’s Pacific coast.
The revelation comes as part of Viva Aerobús’s strategic expansion initiative, with additional routes extending to Chetumal, Los Cabos, Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Villahermosa, and even reaching as far as Bogotá, Colombia. This ambitious move underscores the airline’s commitment to fortifying AIFA’s status as a pivotal hub for national and international air travel.
The General Directorate of Felipe Ángeles International Airport affirmed the significance of these developments, noting that the commencement of these new routes cements Viva Aerobús as the premier airline operating out of AIFA.
