Viva Aerobús Expands Air Routes, Including New Connection to Puerto Vallarta

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – To bolster connectivity and cater to the burgeoning demand for air travel, Viva Aerobús, a prominent Mexican low-cost airline, has announced the introduction of seven new national routes originating from the Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA). Among these freshly unveiled destinations stands Puerto Vallarta, a popular resort city on Mexico’s Pacific coast.

The revelation comes as part of Viva Aerobús’s strategic expansion initiative, with additional routes extending to Chetumal, Los Cabos, Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Villahermosa, and even reaching as far as Bogotá, Colombia. This ambitious move underscores the airline’s commitment to fortifying AIFA’s status as a pivotal hub for national and international air travel.

The General Directorate of Felipe Ángeles International Airport affirmed the significance of these developments, noting that the commencement of these new routes cements Viva Aerobús as the premier airline operating out of AIFA. In a statement, they expressed confidence that such endeavors will further bolster the airport’s pivotal role as a vital node in the country’s air transport network, ultimately benefiting passengers with enhanced connectivity and top-tier service standards.

With the addition of these new routes, Viva Aerobús significantly augments its network, now boasting a total of 25 national and international destinations from AIFA, effectively solidifying its position as the airport’s primary operator.

Juan Carlos Zuazua, the airline’s general director, underscored AIFA’s potential as the primary transportation hub within the Metropolitan Zone of the Valley of Mexico. He emphasized that the new routes are strategically tailored to leverage the airport’s extensive capacity while meeting the escalating demand for air connectivity in the region. Moreover, Zuazua emphasized the airline’s commitment to providing passengers with a compelling value proposition, boasting a modern fleet of aircraft, direct flights, and competitive pricing.

The unveiling of these new routes not only signifies a significant milestone for Viva Aerobús but also heralds a new era of enhanced accessibility for travelers, further solidifying Puerto Vallarta’s status as a premier destination for both domestic and international tourists.
