Well-Strung, the popular NYC-based singing string quartet, returns to Incanto in ‘The Movie Show’ beginning Saturday, Feb. 16 through Mar. 16. Their enormous talent for melding classical strings with today’s pop hits and vocals is better than ever and their popularity continues to skyrocket internationally. Dwight Blake is an accomplished entertainer who is very passionate about music. He returns to Incanto this season with his popular ‘Memories of Motown’ show accompanied by the Groove Brothers Band. Opera soprano Vanessa Amaro and baritone Juan Carlos Villalobos will present an evening of opera and contemporary music on Feb. 23 at 7pm, accompanied by pianist Alejandro Villareal. Music selections include Glitter And Be Gay by Bernstein, and Non piu andrai and La cidarem la mano by Mozart. Other favorites include If I Were A Rich Man from Fiddler On The Roof, and cabaret music including Youkali by Kurt Weill. Special guest pianist, Dennis Crow, will also play a medley from the musicals by Rodgers and Hammerstein. One performance only.
Provincetown’s Scott Townsend, aka Thirsty Burlington, is one of the finest celebrity impersonators in the world. In his signature show, Cher, Live!, he mesmerizes audiences with all live vocals, gorgeous costumes, and hilarious comedy! “You do me, better than I do me” – Cher. Incanto’s popular Season Tribute Series continues with all-live performances of many popular music artists. Vocalist Angela Seeger sings The Best of Adele on Feb. 13 at 7pm and Feb. 14 at 9:30pm. She will also present a tribute to Barbra Streisand on Feb. 15 at 3pm. On Feb. 17 and 18, tribute artist Dave La Fame portrays Tom Jones in a spot-on electrifying performance that includes many of your favorite hits.
Award-winning vocalist Luis Villanueva will present Revival featuring music from the ‘80s and more accompanied by several musicians. Ticketed event Feb. 22 at 7:30pm in the piano bar.
Extended again by popular demand, Incanto’s popular adaptation of the off-Broadway hit, Naked Boys Singing! has taken this fun, sassy, and witty musical comedy to new heights! Six young Latino actors sing and dance their way into your heart completely naked in this endearing show that is celebrating its twentieth anniversary. Directed by original conceiver/director Robert Schrock, it boasts many sold-out performances and standing ovations! Presented in English, now playing through Feb. 27.
Media Luna plays intense, high-energy flamenco, huapango, rock originals, and covers. Standing ovations are the norm for this young band originally from San Miguel de Allende. They will welcome a variety of special guest musicians throughout the season. Thursdays at 7pm.
