Puerto Vallarta, Mexico — A tragic accident in the early hours of Thursday claimed the life of a 24-year-old American in the upscale Conchas Chinas neighborhood, a residential area renowned for its exclusivity and tranquility.
Emergency services were alerted at approximately 3:00 a.m. to an incident on Callejón de la Igualdad, where a man was reported to have fallen from a significant height. Responders confirmed that the victim, identified as Dominic, had fallen from an estimated height of 12 to 15 meters.
Cristina, the young man’s mother, stated that the circumstances surrounding the accident remain unclear and are under investigation by local authorities.
Paramedics aboard the B-98 ambulance, led by Guadalupe Arriaga, arrived promptly at the scene but confirmed that Dominic had succumbed to his injuries and showed no signs of life. Officer Emanuel Quintero of the PV-414 Municipal Police unit secured the area, awaiting further intervention by the Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
Agents from the Investigative Police and personnel from the Forensic Medical Service (SEMEFO) processed the scene, removed the body, and initiated procedures to determine the facts leading to the fatal fall.
