1ª Green Race 3K & 10K Riviera Nayarit 2017

Todo está listo para la 1ª Green Race 3K & 10K Riviera Nayarit, a celebrarse el próximo domingo 15 de enero de 2017, partiendo del Hotel Samba Vallarta y recorriendo todo el Condominio Maestro Flamingos, principalmente por la Avenida Paseo de los Cocoteros.

“Será una categoría libre para la rama varonil y otra para femenil. Se busca que sea una carrera recreativa, de hecho ya nos han confirmado que van a asistir algunas familias completas a correr”, comentó el presidente del Club de Leones Riviera Nayarit y organizador del evento, Santiago Orozco. 

Precisamente el Club de Leones Riviera Nayarit organiza esta carrera completamente a beneficio, cuyo slogan es  “Sembrando la semilla para un mejor futuro”, ya que lo recaudado irá a su Campaña Ecológica, la cual fomenta el cuidado al medio ambiente, llevando a cabo campañas de reforestación en áreas públicas, limpiezas de playas y la creación de huertos urbanos.

“Ya hemos sembrado como tres mil árboles y lo que buscamos es tener más recursos para traer más árboles a los que tenemos acceso. La idea es que la carrera se haga una vez al año”, declaró Santiago Orozco, quien aprovechó para agradecer todas las facilidades que el área de Grupos de la Oficina de Visitantes y Convenciones de la Riviera Nayarit le ha brindado.

Para los corredores habrá premios en especie por parte de los patrocinadores.  El costo de inscripción es de $250 pesos por persona. Los primeros 350 inscritos obtendrán una playera dry fit conmemorativa y un árbol floral de las especies primavera o rosamorada.

Entre los participantes confirmados viene gente de Tepic y Guadalajara, así como residentes de la zona. Habrá premios en especie para los primeros lugares por parte de los patrocinadores. La carrera comenzará a las 8am, por lo que se recomienda llegar a las 7am. La entrega de playeras será el sábado 14 de enero en la Plaza Paradise, local J-2 de 10am a 6pm, donde también se pueden comprar boletos.
