5.4 earthquake in Chiapas

The National Seismological Service of Mexico recorded a preliminary 5.7 earthquake, which was later downgraded to 5.4, in the Northwest area of Chiapas, in the municipality of Arriaga.

State Civil Protection was dispatched to assess any damage to structures. So far, no damage or injury has been reported.
