This year marks the 23rd International Gourmet Festival, a culinary tradition in this region of western Mexico with Riviera Nayarit and Puerto Vallarta.
To celebrate the event, the perfect setting will be Vidanta’s facilities in Riviera Nayarit, where the Grand Gourmet Village will be held, opening the festival on Friday, November at 8 pm.
Starting on Saturday, November 11, the A la Carte Gourmet Dinners will be served at each of the participating restaurants from 7 pm to 11 pm.
On Sunday 12, we await a wonderful experience at Garza Blanca Resort, well deserved and named Culinary Paradise, starting at 5:30 pm.
In addition, that Sunday evening will present the work of invited chef from “Deux Mec”, iconic restaurant of the Romantic Zone of Puerto Vallarta.
On Monday, November 13, the International Gourmet Festival starts the week with The Grand Gourmet Safari, one of the most favorite events, where attendees will be delighted in the gastronomic creations of four different restaurants; River Café, Café des Artistes, Tropical Coco and Kaiser Maximilian.
On Tuesday the 14th, Café des Artistes, the original restaurant of renowned chef Thierry Blouet, dresses up early to present a majestic cooking show demonstrating why it continues to be one of the best culinary establishments in the Bay.
On Tuesday night, November 14, the festival is at the famous restaurant Kaiser Maximilian, in the heart of the Romantic Zone of Puerto Vallarta, where you will enjoy “The Chef’s Table and its Art”, at 8 pm.
For Wednesday 15, a great show of Cuisine in the traditional Coco Tropical, founded by the renowned chef Heinz Reize with its “Demonstration, wine and lunch”, begins at 9 am.
At nightfall, chef Thierry Blouet waits for you at Café des Artistes with a spectacular Night Theme Surprise with all the skill of your guest chef, at 8 pm.
Arriving on November 16, full of events on both sides of Banderas Bay: Shortly after noon, the Secrets Vallarta Bay Resort in Puerto Vallarta will surprise you with “The Vintage Experience” seasoned with a touch of country music.
Also in downtown Puerto Vallarta, Villa Premier Hotel Boutique awaits you at 8 pm to marvel at the creations of its fantastic guest chef and culinary art.
Meanwhile, in Nuevo Vallarta , Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit will hold the “Food & Art Fest”, a gastronomic feast where its renowned chefs and visitors will give you a unique culinary welcome around the stoves.
The last weekend of the International Gourmet Festival will be loaded with special events to close with culinary tradition in Puerto Vallarta, Riviera Nayarit and Tepic.
Friday, November 17, will be held the culinary forum, where students of gastronomy from different educational institutions will have the opportunity to chat in with high caliber chefs.
The prestigious Secrets Vallarta Bay Resort is not far behind in this culinary feast, as the evening of Friday, November 17 will host an unprecedented theme night, which will demonstrate all the expertise of its surprise guest chef. You can not miss this!
The Riviera Nayarit has a spectacular place that has gradually been positioned as one of the favorite spots for alternative tourism that visits the region, Polo Club La Patrona, in the charming beach town of San Pancho.
On Saturday 18 November at night, the Polo Club La Patrona awaits you to enjoy a fantastic evening where you can discover the skills of the visiting chef at 8 pm. While Sunday 19, will be the long awaited Gourmet Picnic Brunch starting at 11 am.
Finally, the fabulous Mantamar beach club located in Playa Los Muertos in the Romantic Zone of Puerto Vallarta will be the ideal setting to close the Festival with a great pool and champagne afternoon dedicated especially to the LGBT audience.
