Starbucks in Mexico accepting earthquake donations

On Saturday, September 9 and for an indefinite period, all Starbucks stores in Mexico will become collection centers for the communities of Oaxaca, Chiapas, Tabasco, Veracruz and Puebla, affected by the earthquake and floods caused by the Hurricane season.

"We want to capitalize on the popularity and convenient locations of our 610 stores in 61 cities across the Mexican Republic, with the support of our more than seven thousand employees and thousands of customers, to have a positive impact on affected communities," the chain said in a statement.
