The full Congress of Jalisco approved the recognition of the interstate metropolitan area integrated by Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco and Bahía de Banderas, Nayarit.
Now it is only necessary that the Congress of the neighboring state do the same, in order to standardize services and be able to access federal funds, explained the author of the initiative, Héctor Pizano, deputy president of the Metropolitan Affairs Commission.
