Romantic Zone (Old Town)

The Romantic Zone has more restaurants and cafes than any other zone in Puerto Vallarta. Here you will find “Restaurant Row” along Basilio Badillo that seemingly spreads around the block and continues down Olas Altas, probably the most famous streets in the Romantic Zone.

The Romantic Zone begins that the Isla Cuale and southward to Conchas Chinas.

The Romantic Zone is home to Puerto Vallarta’s most famous beach, Los Muertos Beach and the Los Muertos Pier, names by CNN as one of the most beautiful piers in the world.

The area provides several boutique hotels and is home to many of the area’s expats.

The Romantic Zone is also the most popular for the GLBT community with the gay beach and most of Puerto Vallarta’s gay clubs and nightlife.
