50,000 baby turtles released in Puerto Vallarta

A total of 50,000 sea turtle hatchlings have been released so far this season in Puerto Vallarta, the municipal government reported.

They added that personnel from the Green Patrol and workers from the Ecology area have collaborated in this, and have protected the nests or rescued turtles.

They consider it extremely important that citizens become aware to avoid robbery or damage to the turtle.

Last Friday on the beach in front of Holi, almost 2,000 baby turtles were released, according to biologist Idelfonso Ramos Guerreo, Environment Supervisor, and among the priorities . . .
