The Commission for the Search for Persons of the State of Jalisco, implemented an operational deployment for three days in the municipality of Puerto Vallarta with dozens of relatives of people who have gone missing in Puerto Vallarta.
During Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of this week, various search actions were carried out, with the intention of obtaining information that helps locate people who have been reported missing in the tourist destination.
In accordance with the Prospecting Plan implemented, interviews were conducted among the residents to obtain information that could help in locating missing persons; Missing person posters were placed in points of high influx of people and the South Southeast Regional Comprehensive Justice Center (CEINJURE) of Puerto Vallarta was visited.
In compliance with the Principle of Joint Participation, relatives of people who have been reported missing in the area participated in the operational deployment; as well as personnel from this Commission and from the Puerto Vallarta Search Group, as well as from the Secretary of Security.
In all the search brigades, personnel from the Directorate of Attention to Relatives of this Commission provided accompaniment to the relatives who were present.
Jalisco ranks number one in missing persons in Mexico and Puerto Vallarta is considered a high-risk area for child and sex trafficking.
The People Search Commission works in coordination with the authorities of the three levels of government in locating people who have been reported missing. In the event that people have information that they can contribute to locating one, they can contact the phone 33 15 14 54 22 or 800 7188 086.
The facilities are located at Calzada de las Palmas No 30 Colonia La Aurora where they can also go in person to file a search report 24 hours a day.
