A male, of foreign nationality, took his own life after jumping from the third floor of the La Casa Blanca condominium building in Puerto Vallarta’s El Cerro neighborhood in Centro.
Before jumping, municipal authorities arrived at the scene and tried to persuade the subject not to jump, however, they were unsuccessful.
After jumping, the security elements approached the man to offer medical assistance, but the foreigner showed no vital signs and died on impact. The Prosecutor’s Office was contacted to carry out the corresponding investigations and find out if the person was intoxicated prior to jumping or suffered from mental illness.
Currently, the name or nationality of the male has not been released.
