Puerto Vallarta (PVDN) – A man was arrested for falsifying the transfer of a home and land located in the Fraccionamiento Fluvial neighborhood in Puerto Vallarta.
The State Attorney General’s Office reported the arrest and charges against Édgar Eser ‘L’, who pretended through a public deed that the properties had been transferred to him.
However, the alleged property thief forgot a detail that the State Attorney General’s Office identified in the investigations.
“However, it became clear that the legal documents could not be possible since the referenced male property owner could not have carried out the transfer of the property because he died in May 2020, a few months before the dated document forged by Édgar Eser L supposedly was carried out ”, noted the agency.
In addition, the subject appeared at the mentioned home on September 28, 2020, threatening landlords with taking their property.
The victims of the dispossession were a man and a woman, who filed a criminal complaint.
The Investigative Police under the command and leadership of the Public Ministry agent, managed to prove the probable responsibility of Édgar Eser L. in the commission of the crime of fraud, for which an arrest warrant was requested that allowed his capture.
The fraudster is currently charged with the crime and is in preventive detention for one year while awaiting trial.
