Puerto Vallarta, Mexico — In a significant step toward enhancing support for the LGBTQ+ community, the Puerto Vallarta Sexual Diversity Office has officially relocated to Lázaro Cárdenas Park, popularly known as “Parque de Los Azulejos.” The new facility will operate daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., offering a comprehensive suite of services designed to cater to the specific needs of the community.
The revamped office is set to provide a range of vital resources, including specialized legal advice from a team of lawyers well-versed in sexual diversity matters. In addition, visitors can access tailored psychological support services, with professionals trained to address the unique challenges and concerns faced by LGBTQ+ individuals. To further ensure that both locals and visitors enjoy a safe and welcoming environment, the office also offers tourist information to help navigate the city’s many attractions.
Héctor Ramírez Betancourt, head of the Sexual Diversity Office, emphasized the importance of this move, stating, “The Office of Sexual Diversity is committed to providing a safe space for the LGBTQ+ community, and the change of facilities is an important step toward achieving this goal. We are grateful to Mayor Luis Munguía for his support in making this happen.”
