Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – Just in time for the city’s anniversary, Sabores de Vallarta returns on Saturday, May 31, bringing together 25 of Puerto Vallarta’s finest restaurants for a day‐long celebration of local and international cuisine. From 2 p.m. to 11 p.m., food lovers are invited to the Puerto de Luna esplanade—situated at the corner of Medina Ascencio Avenue and Fluvial Street—to sample more than 40 distinct dishes crafted by the city’s top chefs.
During a press presentation Tuesday afternoon, event organizer Edgar Cisneros outlined the highlights of the fourth‐annual Sabores de Vallarta Gastronomic Festival. “This year’s lineup truly represents the diversity and creativity of our culinary scene,” Cisneros said, noting that attendees will also enjoy expertly mixed cocktails and mocktails prepared by some of the region’s leading mixologists.
Since its inaugural edition in 2017 at Plaza de Armas, the festival has steadily grown and evolved. After moving to Puerto Mágico in 2022 and Parque Hidalgo in 2024, the festival debuts its new location this year on the expansive Puerto de Luna esplanade. “We wanted a venue that reflects the growth of both our festival and our city,” Cisneros explained.
In addition to gastronomy and mixology, Sabores de Vallarta will feature live music performances throughout the afternoon and evening, creating a vibrant backdrop as guests stroll among the tasting booths. Parking will be available on site for 50 pesos, with unlimited in‐and‐out privileges for the day, ensuring attendees can come and go at their leisure.
“This is the best excuse to celebrate Puerto Vallarta, right on its anniversary,” Cisneros emphasized, inviting both residents and visitors to join what promises to be a festive homage to the city’s rich flavors and warm hospitality. Admission to the festival is free; guests pay only for the dishes and drinks they choose to sample.
