Los Cabos invites youth to join second edition Youth Bazaar

Los Cabos, Baja California Sur – Los Cabos has made support for youth permanent by opening registration for the second edition Youth Bazaar. The Youth Institute (INJUVE), led by José Luis Gutiérrez, will select 25 new participants for this showcase of local talent. The event takes place on August 14 at 4:30 p.m. in Plaza Mijares.

The inaugural bazaar, held in January, brought together 25 young entrepreneurs. Collectively, they generated sales exceeding 500,000 pesos in a single afternoon. The success of that debut convinced municipal leaders to expand the program. Now, a fresh cohort will have the same chance to shine, network, and learn.

Second Edition Youth Bazaar

José Luis Gutiérrez, head of INJUVE, said the bazaar is an essential platform for empowering young people. He noted that these events harness the creative and innovative force that youth bring to the economy. By giving visibility to local and sustainable projects, the bazaar also drives a positive social and economic impact across the community.

Agúndez has stressed that youth remain a priority for his administration. “Our strategies will always be built to strengthen this sector,” the mayor said, underlining the permanent nature of municipal backing. With continued funding and logistical support, the Youth Bazaar will become a recurring opportunity for emerging business owners.

Young entrepreneurs often face hurdles such as a lack of startup capital, limited access to broader markets, and gaps in business know-how. The bazaar addresses these challenges by offering an accessible space to foster growth. Participants connect directly with potential clients and partners, building networks that can extend well beyond the event day.

Registration opens immediately through the INJUVE offices. Applicants must submit a brief business summary and product portfolio. Selection criteria focus on originality, sustainability, and community impact. Those chosen will receive guidance on booth setup, marketing, and sales techniques to maximize their performance on event day.

By blending municipal resources with youth initiative, the second edition Youth Bazaar exemplifies a hands-on approach to local development. It shines a spotlight on emerging talent while reinforcing the message that young people are central to the region’s future prosperity.

With its blend of entrepreneurship training, real-world sales experience, and community engagement, the bazaar offers more than a market—it builds the next generation of business leaders. Here, innovation meets opportunity under the banner of permanent municipal support.
