Puerto Vallarta finds third body in three days

For the third time in as many days, Puerto Vallarta authorities have recovered a body—this time before dawn on a connector road by the former municipal dump, heading toward the golf course. A broken bumper piece lay beside the victim, so a hit-and-run is possible, but the cause of death will rest on the autopsy. Earlier this week, rescuers pulled one body near Yelapa and another that the Ameca River carried toward the bay. Here’s what investigators have confirmed—and what remains unanswered.
