Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, June 17, 2026 – Puerto Vallarta opened a public exhibit of artist-painted monumental soccer balls on Tuesday, June 16, inside the Municipal Presidency in Centro.
The large soccer-ball sculptures were installed in the corridors of City Hall, at Independencia 123, steps from Plaza de Armas and the Malecón.

Cristopher de Alba Anguiano, a Guadalajara 2026 cultural table official, described the state project as a way “to bring art wherever you go,” linking the World Cup build-up to public spaces outside the stadium.
