Man Seriously Injured in Shooting at Puerto Vallarta Shopping Center

A man sustained severe injuries after being shot at the northern entrance to Puerto Vallarta in a violent incident that took place early Monday morning, sparking a large-scale security operation.

The shooting occurred shortly before 9:30 a.m. in a shopping mall area located on the border between Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, and Bahía de Banderas, Nayarit, along Federal Highway 200. According to initial reports, the victim, a man between the ages of 45 and 50, was traveling in a white Toyota pickup truck with Jalisco license plates when he was ambushed by unknown attackers . . .
