Mexico to Begin Construction of Mexico-Querétaro and Mexico-Pachuca Passenger Trains in April 2025

The Government of Mexico, through the Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications, and Transportation (SICT), has announced that construction for the long-awaited Mexico-Querétaro and Mexico-Pachuca passenger trains will commence in April 2025. These major infrastructure projects are part of the government's broader strategy to revitalize passenger train services in the country and are expected to be operational by 2027.
