Mexico’s New President Submits Budget Cutting Military, Police, and Health by Nearly 40%, Prioritizes Social Programs

Despite these ambitious priorities, the overall public spending is set to decrease by nearly 2%, with revenue growing proportionally. The government has emphasized deficit control as a central goal for the fiscal year.
