Puerto Vallarta Added to Google Maps’ “Special Collections”

Today, Google Maps added to its catalog of Special Collections, different sites and landmarks along the coast of Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit, including the Marietta Islands, Cruz de Huanacaxtle Marina, Botanical Gardens, Las Caletas and Dolphinariums Vallarta Adventures. Special Collections allows web visitors to experience these places around the bay through a virtual 360 tour.

“Several new landmarks of Jalisco have been added so that people around the world can enjoy this destination from their computer or mobile device, no matter if they are in South Africa, Australia or Spain,” Google said in a statement.

To get the shots, the Google Maps team traveled by car, on foot and by boat, to deliver not only views from the beaches, but the diversity of region. “With this we create the most complete, accessible and easy to use map for millions of people around the world can learn to distance,” says Google.

To view, all you have to do is look for the Special Collection tool within the Google Maps application, either on a desktop computer to a mobile device, in the catalog are already mapped more than 200 territories and countries around the world.
