Fisherman killed by crocodile in Puerto Vallarta

Staff from the State Civil Protection Unit of Jalisco in coordination with firefighters from Nayarit, Puerto Vallarta and Bahía de Banderas, located the remains of a fisherman in the Ameca River missing since Monday.

The victim was attacked by a crocodile and presumably dragged to the bottom of the river on Monday and the body was found 24-hours after the report.

At 4:00 pm on Monday, fishermen from the river that divides Jalisco and Nayarit spotted a crocodile approximately five meters long that had a human body between its jaws, so the authorities were immediately notified.
