Puerto Vallarta restaurant linked to cartel, says U.S.

Mizi Sushi restaurant located at Francisco Villa 1329 has been identified by the United States as being a financial front for the Jalisco New Generation Cartel.

Four other businesses in Jalisco have also been identified, including J & P Advertising, JJGON, and Onze Black, all in Guadalajara, and Las Flores a company dedicated to vacation rentals in Tapalpa.

The assets and finances of these businesses will be subject to underwriting and forfeiture actions under the direction of the United States.
