Puerto Vallarta Science Students Ready for Solar Eclipse

The moon will clip the sun, making it look like a fingernail as it sets in the west for most North America.

The show will reach its height at 4:45 p.m. CT, NASA says, meaning people in Puerto Vallarta should get a view before the backdrop of golden twilight hues.

Local science students in primary at the American School of Puerto Vallarta are getting ready for this Thursday’s partial solar eclipse by making pinhole cameras for viewing the eclipse. Thank you to all the parent volunteers who have assisted in the classroom this week!
