The tournament is scheduled to begin next week at the sports complex’s fast-soccer court. That area is currently undergoing rehabilitation work, according to details presented by local sports officials.
Organizers said the goal is to promote physical activity, community participation, and social inclusion through sport. The presentation took place at Puerto Vallarta City Hall, with municipal sports and social-service officials taking part.
The tournament is being coordinated through COMUDE Puerto Vallarta, the city’s municipal sports council.

The Mundialito de Fútbol Bardas will be played in an open category. Teams may have up to 12 players, with games played in a six-on-six format.
Each team is expected to play at least three matches. Games are planned from Monday through Sunday, between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m.
Registration is free. Organizers said teams will only be responsible for the referee fee for each match.
The first confirmed teams will play under the names of Mexico, Haiti, Spain, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, Morocco, Portugal, and Norway. More teams are expected as registration continues.
